Meet outside Murphy’s Shop, Rerrin
A ferry will leave the Pontoon (adjacent to Berehaven Golf Club) at 10am, arriving into Rerrin at 10.30am. The meeting point is a 2 minute walk from the ferry landing. Return ferries are at 2.30pm, 4.30pm and 6.30pm.
Cork Walking Week will take place from 23rd September – 1st October 2017. The week-long celebration of walking will take place throughout Cork and cater for people interested in getting out and about and experiencing a multitude of walking opportunites. The concept of the week stems from the previously successful Cork Walking Month where over 2,000 people took part in 2013.
The Cork Sports Partnership has organised the schedule of walking events with local community walking groups,hill walking groups and local partners who are encouraging people to take part in their walks during the week. The events are open to beginners who would like to get started with walking in a fun, safe and local environment.
