News Update: Tours of Lonehort Battery will take place every Saturday and Sunday in September, meet outside the main gate at 12.00pm.
Bere Island Projects group are in the process of restoring Lonehort Battery as a visitor attraction, phase one is now complete and this section is now open for guided tours. Lonehort Battery is the largest of seven gun batteries which were built in the early 1900s by the British Admiralty.
