Bere Island Cargo Service 2020 – 2022
The Bere Island cargo service contract for 2020 – 2022 is being put out for tender in the coming weeks. The Department of Culture, Heritage & the Gaeltacht have asked BIPG to consult with the community to see if users are happy with the existing level of service or if changes are needed to the new contract. BIPG are asking the community and users of the service to provide feedback by emailing berniebipg@gmail.com or by dropping in written feedback in a sealed envelop marked “Bere Island Cargo Contract Renewal Feedback” no later than 5pm on Friday 6th March 2020.

The All Islands’ Football competition will take place on Bere Island this year from 22nd-24th May. In order to accommodate all those who will be travelling to the event, Bere Island GAA Club are asking anyone who has accommodation they are willing to rent out for the two nights (Friday 22nd and Saturday 23rd), either a room or a house to contact Barry on 086 8845709 or at bereislandholidayhomes@gmail.com
