The Bere Island Walking Group meet every Tuesday evening at 7.00pm at the Community Centre. All ages, and all levels of fitness are welcome to come along and nobody is left behind! Please wear a hi-vis.

The Bere Island Men’s Shed group meet every Thursday evening at 7.30pm in the Community Centre. All are welcome to attend, if anyone needs transport to and from the Community Centre, please contact the Projects Group Office on 027 75099.

Bere Island Projects Group CLG wish to invite applications for the position of Project Administrator. This is a full time (35 hours per week) one year contract with the possibility of extension. The closing date for applications is 5.00pm on Thursday 18th January 2024.  

Bere Island Energy Group will hold a community meeting on Tuesday 19th December at 7.00pm in the Community Centre to approve Bere Island as part of the West Cork Islands and Inis Bofin joining the EU Transition to Clean Energy for islands initiative.
