Last Sunday, April 26th, Bere Island Community Radio broadcast the Last Sunday Fit Up Connection, with three stunning performances from Aindreas de Staic with Around the World on 80 Quid, Vincent Higgin’s A Quarrel with Myself and Seamus O’Rourke’s Padraig Pott’s Walking Tour. The festival organisers, in partnership with Bere Island Radio are broadcasting one hour of specially commissioned plays on the radio in a bid to keep Fit Up writers and actors connected with their audience. The next broadcast will take place in the autumn.
