Bere Island Community Radio  Sunday Mass is celebrated  at 10am and is followed by our Beara and Beyond Programme at 11am. Tune into 100.1FM locally or online here.

St Michael’s Church Sunday Mass is celebrated at 10am each Sunday.

Waste Collections Any waste which cannot be recycled is collected monthly. Details are available here.  A Recycling Centre is located the West End pier and takes cans, plastics, paper, cardboard, glass and there is also a clothing bank. Please ensure all items being recycled are clean..

Rural Transport Bus  The rural transport bus travels to Castletownbere on Tuesdays and Fridays, leaving on the 10.00am ferry and returning at 11.30am on Tuesdays and 1.30pm on Fridays. The bus is also available to bring people to and from Mass on Sundays.  For details contact 027 75099.

Defibrillators: Defibrillators can be found at the West End Pier (outside the waiting room), outside Bere Island Community Centre, outside Murphy’s Shop, Rerrin, at Wild Atlantic Glamping and at Lawrence Cove Marina.
