Tours of Lonehort Battery, a former World War One gun battery will take place every Saturday, Sunday and Wednesday meeting at the main gate at 1.00pm. Construction of Lonehort, which is surrounded by a deep moat, began in 1898. Licencesd tour guides will lead you around this unique site, visiting the two remaining coastal artillery guns and the network of cartridge stores and tunnels beneath the guns.
