Bere Island First Responder Group are running a free hands-only CPR course on Wednesday August 7th in the Community Centre at 10.00am and at 2.00pm. The course is open to all island residents and visitors to the island. Booking is essential by contacting Theresa on 086 1621803.
Bere Island Projects Group currently have a selection of native Irish trees available for planting. The trees can be collected from the community centre, a further delivery as part of National Tree Week will be available shortly. For details contact Oscar Daly on 027 75099 or 085 1679052.
National Broadband Ireland will visit Bere Island next week and hold a public meeting on Monday 19th February 2024 at 7.00pm in the Community Centre. They will give an update presentation on the progress with fibre broadband for Bere Island. Everyone is welcome to come along.
A white goods collection will take place at the end of February. Please bring only items with a BATTERY or a PLUG for recycling to the Recycling Centre at Oilean na gCaorach before 9.00am on Monday 26th February 2024.
